DECK CLEANING
Neglected deck without protection will lead to rot and dull, dead surface timber. You deck may be dangerously slippery underfoot and generally unattractive. However, it's not all bad news. Deck cleaning can strip back the years to reveal beautiful timbers which would enhance any home. We use a combination of soft washing techniques, moss treatment, special gentle cleaning agents and careful pressure washing methods to reveal your timbers true beauty. Note that we do not use bleach on your deck. Bleach can eat into your timber and shorten its lifespan. Once cleaned we can seal the deck to provide long term protection.
DECK sealing
Once your deck is clean it's important to protect your revived timber with deck oils or stains. Failure to do so will leave it open to the elements. Rain, snow and ice can cause rot and splitting of the deck timbers and the suns UV rays also need to be kept at bay. There are a plethora of different deck sealing products & colours available. We only use the highest quality deck stains and oils that provide the best and longest protection. We can assist with colour choice and levels of transparencies and also conduct sample sections of your favourite colours so that you can make an informed choice.
PRE-BOOKED ANNUAL DECK CLEANING/sealing
To provide year round deck maintenance an annual gentle pressure clean and a coat of deck oil or stain is all that should be required.
